Nier is definitely a tough cookie to figure out, as there are two different versions in Japan but only one version for the western audiences. Square Enix cannot seem to get enough of screwing with gamers’ minds, and it looks like out of nowhere the game is actually pretty close to release.
Square Enix has given a Spring 2010 release date for the upcoming Action RPG, which could mean any time from late March to early June. Add this game to the wave of RPGs coming to the PS3, and the gaming system promises to steal many hours of our lives in 2010. Hopefully for everyone’s sake, this game falls later than sooner so we have plenty of time to complete the mass of RPGs scheduled for early this year.
