Valkyria Chronicles 2 Unleashes War In Japan

Underdog PlayStation 3 exclusive Valkyria Chronicles became an instant fan favorite, implementing fun and addictive strategy gameplay. Sega is hoping that the sequel mirrors the success of the first game, only this time, on a smaller scale.

RPG sequel Valkyria Chronicles 2 is now out in Japan. The PSP title can also link to the PS3 for some extra features. The game’s Japanese site has announced that a save file from the original Valkyria Chronicles game can be transferred via memory stick to unlock the character Isara.

Screenshots of the RPG were released last year, which showed that the title bears a strong resemblance to its predecessor.

You can import the title from Play-Asia, but the online retailer sadly does not ship to Europe. The exclusive is slated for a worldwide summer release.
