Star Wars fanatics have been waiting for a console follow up to Star Wars: Battlefront II, which released in 2005. However, it seems the wait for this sequel may be over.
According to Kotaku, a new Battlefront game is in pre-production. Titled Battlefront Online, the game is supposedly in development by SOCOM: Confrontation dev, Slant Six Games and LucasArts. Battlefront Online is being aimed for release on PS3 and Xbox 360, with a date of 2011. As the title also suggests, it will be online-only.
