After receiving a red light in Japan and no solid concrete release date yet confirmed, an online retailer has hinted at when the release date for Gran Turismo 5 will be.
According to Amazon.com, Gran Turismo 5 is set for a November 1, 2010 release.
Recently in an interview, Sony’s Portugal boss James Armstrong has confirmed that Polyphony Digital’s racer will be racing towards a launch “this fall”.
We believe that launching the product this fall, before Christmas, but not yet decided.
Although this is likely to be a place-holder date, it may turn out to be the actual November release date, as the racer looks very likely to be waiving the checkered flag at its lengthy development process. Multiple N4G forum users are also claiming that Amazon has informed them that the date came direct from Sony.
On top of all this release date talk, Amazon has also updated the price of GT5 taking $5 off the total price for a total of $54.99.
