Gran Turismo, the epitome of racing simulators, has been crowned accordingly due to its impeccable physics, life-like realism, quantity of cars, and graphical achievements. While Gran Turismo 5: Prologue was impressive to most, a comparison to the latest from Polyphony shows us that the final product is where the beauty is at.
Looking at comparison shots of the same areas between Gran Turismo 5: Prologue and the latest GT Academy, we see that the development cycle saw a revamp in textures and re-envisioned realism to stray away from its “realer-than-real” visuals. Check it out in the shots below.
In each image, the top represents the Gran Turismo Academy build and the bottom captures the title’s offering from almost two years ago.
