The HD, side-scrolling PlayStation 3 shooter Soldner X: Himmelsstrumer was not only difficult to say but somewhat difficult to play. Soldner X revisited the classic days of video gaming with a homage to the R-Types and Gradius’ of yesteryear. SideQuest is going back for more with Soldner-X 2: Final Prototype. Eastasiasoft and SideQuest Studios have released some details and screenshots showcasing the PSN title in action.
Soldner-X 2: Final Prototype all the great fun of the original with some great new features. The biggest addition, challenge mode has been introduced to deliver a “simultaneously exciting and rewarding” experience, promising to add replay value to the shooter. The new mode gives players the opportunity to revisit parts of the game and complete a variety of tough challenges to earn trophies, bonus items, additional credits and other unique rewards.
