Since Bungie has separated from its long time partner Microsoft, the rumors have been flying all over the internet about Bungie and possible PS3 development. The group is working on a new game but have been very quiet about any chance of the game showing up on store shelves in a PS3 case. When pressed about the subject in an interview with CVG, Bungie community boss Brian Jarrard had this to say.
“I mean, I think our whole future’s kind of undefined right now and it’s definitely not something we’re going to be comfortable getting into too much detail about.
“We’ve had another team internally [other than those making Reach] for quite a while now – they’ve been working on the genesis of what will become our next big thing.
“It’s a little premature to get into specifics, but you know I think we have a really good mix of old blood and new blood in the studio.”
It will curious to see what this project is and if the team at Bungie has finally decided to dip their toes into the PS3 development. More news concerning this possibility should start to drop after the release of Halo: Reach for the 360. As always, stay connected to PlayStation LifeStyle for all your PS3 news.
