The third DLC release for Borderlands, “The Secret Armory of General Knoxx”, worried many fans. The reason? It was rumored that this downloadable content would mark the end of Borderlands. Although, thankfully, that is not the case.
Take-Two Interactive, publisher of the unique title, has confirmed that DLC will continue for Borderlands. The CEO of the company, Ben Feder, confirmed the news. “We’ll continue to support the title with more digital content,” he said in Take-Two’s Q1 financial call.
Feder also revealed that General Knoxx “was [the] best scoring and highest reviewed Borderlands DLC so far”. The title has revealed three DLC packs so far, of which you can all download from PSN. The Secret of General Knoxx, The Zombie Island of Dr. Ned, and Mad Moxxi’s Underdome Riot will all cost you $10 each.
