Bethesda recently announced its latest publishing partnership with Inxile Entertainment. Inxile is known for the defunct title Heist which has been cancelled by Codemasters. Currently in development, this new project promises cooperative gameplay. Considering Inxile’s founder’s heritage, this it likely a better fit for them.
Hunted: The Demon’s Forge is the latest title from developer Inxile Entertainment. The title is a “third-person co-op fantasy action game” with the “intensity and action of a modern-day shooter.” Featuring co-op, Hunted will have two player puzzles to complete. The two characters will also go up against waves of enemies, using both ranged and melee weapons.
“We are thrilled to be working with Bethesda Softworks on this upcoming release that takes us back to our roots,” said Brian Fargo, Founder of inXile Entertainment. “Bethesda’s track record speaks for itself and the game we are developing for them is no exception.”
Inxile Entertainment was founded in 2002 by founder of Interplay, Brian Fargo. Fargo worked on the games The Bard’s Tale, Baldur’s Gate, and Fallout.
