Konami Breaks Silence on New Silent Hill Game

Silent Hill: Homecoming was the last PS3 installment in the Silent Hill survival horror series, developed by Foundation 9 Entertainment and Double Helix Games. Konami has long been ‘silent’ about the next step in its long running survival horror franchise. Until now…

During a recent news event in Germany which was attended by Eurogamer Germany, the publisher revealed that a new Silent Hill game for “next-gen consoles” is currently in the works. The developer of the horror game is yet unknown.

Not much more was revealed during the event, but more details regarding the latest Silent Hill game will apparently be revealed during the upcoming E3 expo.

The last Silent Hill titles were Silent Hill: Homecoming for the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 and the more recent Silent Hill: Shattered Memories for the PS2 and PSP.
