Gran Turismo 5 has achieved a new milestone in the history of the long-running Gran Turismo franchise. Coinciding with the Nurburgring 24 hour-long race in Germany this weekend, Polyphony Digital has announced that one of Europe’s most famous tracks, Nurburgring, will be arriving in Gran Turismo 5.
The racers’ official website states:
Players will be able to test their skills on these challenging courses, literal testing and proving grounds for the world’s best cars, recreated in stunning detail as only Gran Turismo can deliver. The three courses to be featured in Gran Turismo 5 are the Grand Prix course, the Nordschleife, and the 24 Hours course. Visitors to the Nurburgring 24 Hours race this weekend will be the first to try out all three courses in Gran Turismo 5 on special demo stations set up at the race.

Gran Turismo 5 will be released on March 1st, 2014. Joking aside, Yamauchi will apparently be announcing the official Gran Turismo 5 release date soon.
