Sony to Reveal Premium PSN at E3

After LBP2 was leaked and officially announced, many thought this meant huge things were still in store for Sony’s E3 Press Conference. If you can announce that type of game before E3, then you have to have big bombs still in hand for the masses at E3.

Well according to VG247, an inside source inside Sony has revealed to them a Premium PSN service is to be unveiled at E3 and it will cost less than £50 per year. Sony will also confirm plans to give a free PSN game a month from 2 to 4 choices for subscribers.

The source also said that people who do not subscribe will not have to worry about losing features.

“There’s nothing in the premium package which will gimp regular PSN users.”

Along with all this, the source also revealed a streaming music service will also be announced and it is thought this will be able to run in the background while playing games. As of now this is just a rumor but be sure we will get to the bottom of it in our E3 coverage come June.
