Warner Bros. will be spooking out players with their latest horror first-person shooter F.E.A.R. 3. They even brought in horror-film veteran John Carpenter to help make this game deliver the most scariest and seat-gripping experience you’ll ever come across. This rather bold statement has been backed up by Day 1’s lead systems designer who states that F.E.A.R.3 will be more terrifying from Silent Hill as well as Dead Space and indeed any other horror game out on the market.
While speaking during an interview with website CVG, Parker Hamilton said:
Yes. We indeed do believe F.E.A.R. 3 will continue carrying on the franchise’s tradition of scaring the pants off players in unsettling atmospheres and through unpredictable events.
In fact, we have developed a generative system that allows players to experience the scares of F.E.A.R. 3 in a fresh and dynamic way each time they play. Whether playing cooperatively with a friend or alone in the dark by themselves, the generative system will keep the players on the edge of their seats.
To enhance the horror elements within F.E.A.R. 3, Warner Bros. has brought in horror film director John Carpenter. The director has been behind the classic Halloween, the remake of The Thing and Escape from New York and more. The latest installment in the horror FPS series will bring in co-op where you can take the role of any of the two characters, both providing a different emphasis on the whole game.
F.E.A.R. 3 is currently scheduled for a release this fall. Check out the game’s trailer below. Beware: can potentially make you crap in your pants. PSLS takes no responsibility for said pant crapping.
