The 2k sports series will be making a big spot during 2k’s presentation at E3, with allotted time for NBA 2k11 as well as NHL 2k11, but that’s not the title that tops their list for their premiere headline.
The follow up to 2k’s sandbox crime hit Mafia, Mafia II, should debut some final exciting details to hold us over long enough until its closing release date in August.
Full list of showcased titles is as follows:
- Mafia II
- Sid Meier’s Civilization V
- Spec Ops: The Line
- XCOM
- NHL 2K11
- NBA 2K11
- New Carnival Games
- Nickeloden Fit
XCOM is said to be a rebirth of an older turn based strategy title (now to be a first person shooter) that is being developed by the same 2K studios that brought us the great Bioshock 2. Currently, it is being released exclusively for the 360 and PC, but with the studio’s track record of timed exclusivity, it might be a title worth keeping in the back of your head.
