R.U.S.E Will See Your Moves

No, this is not a bluff. Ubisoft has just announced that their deception-filled real-time strategy game R.U.S.E will launch with PlayStation Move support this fall.

The Move controller will not only be supporting point-and-click functionality in the World War II RTS game, but it will also provide some gesture based motion controls. Players can select units, build structures, and pan the camera with the pointer, while zooming in and menu-swapping will be as simple as flicking your wrist. Senior Producer Mathieu Girard said that developer Eugen Systems and publisher Ubisoft only started integrating Sony’s tech into the game “four or five weeks” ago. “I wasn’t sure if it was just going to be a gadget,” Girard said, “but it turns out it’s a very cool and natural controller. We’re very excited about it.” Although PC players will have the “most efficient” control of playing the game, Girard says that the PS3 + Move combo will be the “the most enjoyable experience.”

As long as no more delays come up, R.U.S.E. should be hitting store shelves this September. Stay tuned to PlayStation LifeStyle for any new information.
