There is no doubt that many gamers are picking up PlayStation Plus from the PlayStation Store. With the product debuting several weeks ago, gamers have the option to get either the year long subscription or a 3 month subscription. Those that opt for the year subscription are able to get an additional 3 months for free as a temporary promotion. One real question that has been asked constantly is what about current Qore subscribers that choose to subscribe to PlayStation Plus as well. The reason behind questioning how subscribers of both services will be handled is because PlayStation Plus subscribers get Qore for free. So when asked as to whether already Qore subscribers will get some sort of refund for subscribing to both services, Sony’s Sid Shuman had this to say:
The official statement is: there’s no plan at this time to offer a credit or refund.
