Tarsier Studios is widely known for their entertaining PlayStation Network title, Ragdoll Kung Fu: Fists of Plastic. The company has already been helping out with Sony’s first-party games – such as producing DLC for LittleBigPlanet – so it’s no surprise that Sony Computer Entertainment has struck a deal with them to become a SCEE first-party developer.
The Swedish-based developers announced the news via its official website, which reveals some intriguing information:
“Tarsier Studios has signed an exclusive first party deal with Sony Computer Entertainment Europe. Together with SCEE, Tarsier Studios will bring their high quality visuals and entertainment talent to the ever growing SCEE game portfolio in the form of a yet to be announced project.”
As seen above, it seems they’re working on an unannounced game. Ragdoll Kung Fu: Fists of Plastic 2, anyone? In addition, Tarsier Studios – who, as mentioned worked on LittleBigPlanet DLC – will also be working on LittleBigPlanet 2 DLC.
I’d say they’ve already fit in perfectly, don’t you think!?
