Move & 3D Support Still Up in the Air for Child of Eden

First demoed at Ubisoft’s press conference back at E3, Tetsuya Mizuguchi’s new Rez-’em-up has been the stand-out showing for Microsoft’s Kinect peripheral. So you would assume that utilising Move support for the PlayStation 3 version of the game would be a natural fit, perhaps even throw in some 3D features to really bring those interactive music visualizers to life. However, that might not be the case…

While speaking with CVG, the Child of Eden creator remained tight-lipped on any sort of Move or 3D functionality.  “”We can’t say anything at this time” noted Mizuguchi-san. So, not a flat out denial but still a little more hesitant than we would have hoped.

This statement follows hot on the heels of the news that Mizuguchi-san does not have any sort of Move development kit, leaving the Xbox 360 game as the only version currently with motion controls. We’ll have more news for you as it’s available.
