Black Rock Studio has announced that their destruction-based racer Split/Second will receive at least four new downloadable packs. This information comes straight from the most official source of all: their Facebook page.
Three of these DLC packs will arrive for Split/Second by the end of this month. The first pack seems to be cosmetic in nature, as Black Rock says it will “make your turbo-powered Elite vehicles stand out from the rest of the crowd.” Maybe something like a flame decal. Or maybe not. The second pack dubbed the “High Octane Supercar Pack” will contain an entirely new vehicle for you to enjoy. The last pack will be Black Rock’s way of saying “Thank You” to their community since last May, but still available for all. This free DLC will contain a special edition vehicle based on the original Ryback Cyclone. No specific date for these packs was announced, only to be released in the next few weeks.
Finally, Black Rock Studio said their fourth piece of DLC will be slipping into September, but will be worth the wait.
