Sony plans to unleash Firmware update 3.50 tomorrow evening, with 3D Blu-Ray support being the crowning achievement. But wait… there’s more! Hurry inside for all the details and changes.
Here’s what we will be receiving once the scheduled maintenance is over with (or if we’re lucky, before it begins):
- 3D Blu-Ray support for 3D movie playback on every PlayStation 3 ever made. Yes Please.
- PlayStation Move controller can be used as the cursor for the web browser.
- You can now report those annoying users who send you spam through your ‘friends’ list.
- a 3D ‘notice’ screen for games that are compatible with your 3DTV.
- Improve access and function with the social network Facebook.
- Improved descriptions of the 14 most common PS3 errors.
- Updated interface for the PlayStation Plus section of the PS Store.
- Qriocity Icon will appear on the music section of the PS Store, but won’t be available (may be EU only)
We’ll let you know as soon as the firmware update is live and will be sure to let you know if we uncover any additional features.
