Well folks, it’s finally true. The Prince of Persia Trilogy that has been mentioned for quite some time now has finally been announced. The game is a PS3 exclusive, comes with 3D support, and might not make it out of the PAL territories.
Coming with Sands of Time, Warrior Within, and The Two Thrones all on one Blu-Ray disc, the Prince of Persia Trilogy will be fully remastered in 720p HD with new textures, normal maps, anti-aliasing, and the increasingly popular 3D support. All three games should clock in at around 30 hours of play time. The game will be released on November 19th, launching at a RRP of £29.99. A deal this good could only be rivalled by something like the Team Ico collection that is currently set for next Spring.
But unfortunately, Ubisoft has only confirmed this game for Europe. It doesn’t appear to be a flat-out denial of a North American release yet, but why else would they only announce it for one region and not the other? Let’s hope that the Prince of Persia Trilogy will make it across the Atlantic Ocean. Stay tuned to PlayStation LifeStyle and you’ll see if we get any more information.
