The delay of SOCOM 4 raised a great deal of disappointment among fans as it was one of the highlights of the holiday season. Although gamers will have to wait until January of 2011 to get their hands on the tactical third-person shooter, PlayStation enthusiasts have another treat to add to the list of features for Zipper Interactive’s upcoming shooter.
Spotted in gameplay videos from the Eurogamer Expo in London, the pause menu for the SOCOM 4 demo featured settings in the video category for a 3D mode. While one of the key features of the TPS has always been PlayStation Move support, stereoscopic 3D has not yet been announced or even mentioned for that matter. Regardless, until the official fact sheet is released for the game, it is safe to say that 3D along with Move support will be present in the title.
SOCOM 4 hits store shelves in January of 2011. Keep up with PlayStation LifeStyle for the official release date.
