Peace Walker Sneaks in 1.5 Million in Sales

Konami has released its fiscal results for the first part of the year which ended September 30th of this year. Konami brought in $1.44 billion during the year which after taxes comes to around 52 million. These are both solid improvements over the numbers for this same time last year, and the company also managed to move 10.05 million units of software on top of that.

PSP exclusive Metal Gear Solid: Peace Walker accounted for 1.47 million of the 10 million units. Overall, the PSP accounted for 28 percent of Konami’s software sales and 29 percent on the PS3. It’s always great to see these kind of numbers as MGS: Peace Walker was a fantastic title. With games like Castlevania: Lords of Shadow and Dance Dance Revolution, do you think Konami will continue to see a growth in sales?
