Leaked PlayStation Home Pics Indicate New PDA System, Status Updates and More

PlayStation Home Core Client Update 1.4 doesn’t go live until November 11th, but that doesn’t mean you can’t sneak a peak at what’s to come. We recently came across some leaked pics from the Home Beta… Beta, if we can call it that, in the Official US PlayStation Forums and we thought you might find them interesting.

First, Home Community Specialist Locust_Star confirmed that the Home wardrobe system would be experiencing a significant overhaul, and it appears that part of that overhaul will mean simpler, faster interface options through the PDA, much like the new start-up screen that users are used to. Next we notice that users will now have the ability to select a status for their avatar, making it easier to let others know that you don’t want to be bothered, or that you want to get a game going; this may even grant users the ability to change facial expressions, which many have been asking for for some time. Then finally we have a small lizard, which can apparently be enabled in public or private spaces, much like the bubble machines that Home users are used to, adding to the interesting, albeit useless, addition of pets in Home.

The images showing off these new additions, which are likely to be included in the 1.4 update, or shortly thereafter, can be seen below.
