At E3 this past June, we all were treated to the new trailer for Metal Gear Solid Rising, and gamers were thrilled. Well you may need to keep that excitement level up longer then first expected.
Kotaku got word earlier today that Metal Gear Solid Rising won’t be coming out till 2012. Even though no release window was ever given in the past it was always expected it would be releasing sometime in 2011.
This should not come as a surprise to Metal Gear Solid fans as Metal Gear Solid 4 was first shown in 2005, but didn’t see the light of day till 2008. That being said it still is a shame that we won’t be able to cut through all of those watermelons till 2012.
As for now this should only be taken as a rumor until we get some more info from Kojima.
