For the few lucky gamers who have managed to get their hands on Gran Turismo 5 a bit early, they would immediately notice that the retail disc doesn’t feature an online component. Now, however, a version 1.01 patch, which released today, adds the online functionality to the anticipated PS3 exclusive.
The now currently live patch will take up approximately 133MB of hard drive space. With the online mode, players will be able to create lobbies, trade cars with buddies and race anyone, anywhere in the world.
