The debut Uncharted 3: Drake’s Deception trailer, which made its world premier at the VGAs, still has everyone talking about it. Its franchise has made a huge mark in gaming history, and the trailer for what is going to be one of, if not the most anticipated PlayStation 3 exclusive, needs to be done to perfection to amaze the masses. Naughty Dog did just that with an over two-minute long trailer that gave snippets of gameplay and scenes from Drake’s upcoming adventure. But what really goes behind-the-scenes to make such a trailer? The award-winning developer has now released a video giving an intriguing insight into what it took to make the trailer, and by doing so, has showcased some unseen gameplay footage.
Josh Scherr (Cinematic Animation Lead), Christophe Balestra (Naughty Dog Co-President), and Amy Hennig (Creative Director) all dwelve into how to beat the monumental expectations put onto Uncharted 3 and much more. Also, Nolan North and Victor Sullivan give an interesting insight on their big roles with the title. It’s a brilliant video which really shows how great Naughty Dog as a studio are and it also showcases that they are dedicated to their fans and listen to them all. Check out the footage below.
Following the release of Uncharted 3‘s trailer, Naughty Dog decided to get into a festive mood by giving both European and North American PlayStation Stores a ton of Uncharted-related content; ranging from limited avatars to free themes. Uncharted 3: Drake’s Deception is now currently available to pre-order from Amazon and is scheduled for a launch on November 1st, 2011.
