The Spike VGAs came and went last weekend, and with it was a world premiere trailer for Resistance 3, featuring live-action mixed with gameplay footage. The good folks at Insomniac Games released an extended “Director’s Cut” version of that trailer, with a bit more footage. Take a look after the jump.
While the trailer only showed new live-action footage, Senior Community Manager James Stevenson did state that these moments do reflect actual moments that occur in the game. Who else is anxious to see that sledgehammer used in the actual game? Resistance 3 is currently set for a September 6, 2011 release date.
