It’s been a while since we’ve heard anything new from the, previously vocal, developers of Crysis 2, but it looks like it’s time to see a little more of the gorgeous game. Crytek has released a new trailer showing off some of the abilities of the nano-suit with actual gameplay, and it looks stunning.
While battling aliens through the ravaged and crumbling landscape of a ruined New York City, our protagonist can be seen utilizing incredible strength, maneuverability, and, an always awesome, stealth mode. The narrative by the protagonist, codenamed “Alcatraz”, indicates that some more personality may be injected into the game’s story, which is a welcome change. Crysis 2 is set to release on March 22nd, 2011 in North America and March 25th, 2011 in Europe.
