Just two months ago, the new Castlevania was released, and was met with universal high praise. Castlevania: Lords of Shadow takes the series back into the 3D world; its mix of fast paced fight scenes and platforming was just the formula gamers had asked for. Now, it looks like fans will be able to continue their experience with Gabriel.
Teased some time ago, the DLC for Castlevania: Lords of Shadow has now finally been revealed, and given a general release date. The first DLC pack will see Gabriel returning to the castle to assist Laura against the unruly evil that was once kept in check by the Vampire queen Carmilla. This pack is titled “Reverie”, and will release sometime in February.
The second pack is a lot bigger then the first and will continue the story, as players will be given insight into the epilogue you got to see when you finished the game. They also promise a final showdown with a notorious enemy. This pack is titled “Resurrection” and will be hitting the PSN sometime in April.
No price has been given yet, but with Konomi promising all new areas, monsters, and brand new story lines, it should be a great pickup if it’s reasonably priced. In the meantime, get ready for the DLC by working toward the Lord of Shadow platinum trophy with our official trophy guide.
