Real-time strategy games are a rare breed on console platforms, but Ubisoft’s R.U.S.E. showed us that it isn’t impossible. The game was met with some open arms, with us giving it an 8/10, and hundreds of players have played it competitively since. To aid in giving the title a long life, Ubisoft is deploying a DLC pack with is slated for next week.
If you’re a fan of R.U.S.E., then prepare for battle, as a newly-announced Chimera DLC Pack is aimed for a release date of January 18th. A new post on Ubisoft’s Twitter account reveals that it’ll be coming in a few days, which only leaves one possible solution: January 18th, which is the next PlayStation Store update.

No details have been revealed for the R.U.S.E. Chimera Pack, so what it entails is anyone’s guess. Some have hypothesized that it’s somehow related to Resistance‘s Chimera, but that’s doubtful given the disconnect between the Ubisoft and Insomniac studios. Whatever it is, it’s coming January 18th and it’s confidential for some reason.
