Immediately following some entertaining co-op action this morning, I managed to stumble upon something interesting within the Community section of my personal favorite, LittleBigPlanet 2. A level titled LittleBigPrius caught my attention, and rightfully so. Apparently, Toyota, in collaboration with Sony, has released an online level for LittleBigPlanet 2 which is intended to be a platform for both advertisement and prizes.
I couldn’t resist, so I hopped into the level and completed it in about 25-30 minutes. I must say, the level is actually very good with its tree-village, puzzles, and even a large city section where you drive around in a Prius collecting points. The purpose of the level is to — in addition to advertising Toyota’s successful economy car — reward players several Toyota related items which can then be used to make levels of their own. According to information provided in the details, which you can see in the below image, those who make a level utilizing the exclusive unlockable items have a shot at winning Sony Bravia 3D HDTV among other prizes.
Unfortunately, the level information refers users to check out blog.us.playstation.com/URLnamegoeshere, which obviously isn’t the correct website URL. Hopefully user DEVKIT1FINALNP updates the details with a correct URL, which will probably happen when LittleBigPlanet 2 officially releases on January 18th.
