Test Drive Unlimited 2 Update on Its Way, First DLC Will Be Free

Test Drive Unlimited 2 is one of the few titles taking a crack at the MMO scene, with new open-world online play integrated throughout all aspects of the game. This ambitious project wasn’t without its initial flaws, with online servers running on life support, and a number of bugs present throughout the TDU2 universe. There is, however, good news. As Eden Games has successfully fixed many of their current server issues and are all set to release their latest update onto the PlayStation Network, along with a surprise or two in the process.

The incoming update will address the following issues:

*Logging into the game has been improved

*Once into the game the online network experience is now much more stable in all areas

*Save games no longer corrupt

*Existing corrupted save games will be repaired in many cases

*Friends lists are now populated

*Invites now work correctly

*Clubs have been brought back online

*Exploits to gain money have been fixed

*Casino access has been improved

*Players will no longer lose money because of the Casino bug

And to add to this update, Eden Games has a surprise. They’ve decided to make the first round of the game’s premium DLC free for everyone, as a sign of appreciation for those who have shown patience over the past few weeks. Pretty nice sentiment, really. Let’s just hope we see some modifications to the game’s physics included in a future update as well.
