Upcoming first-person shooter, Battlefield 3 has already stunned audiences with truly breathtaking visuals in the snippets of gameplay publisher EA released. To show off the gorgeous looks of BF3, which is set to release this fall, DICE has started a web series based on various scenes within the game, the second episode of which has now been released.
Continuing on from Episode 1, “Fault Line Episode 2: Good Effect on Target” shows a group of marines taking down a sniper in an adjacent hotel via rather explosive means. The video is made entirely with in-game footage, although it is most likely from a high-end PC, and showcases how the Frostbite 2 engine handles destruction.
DICE has made bold claims concerning Battlefield 3, calling the game’s competitors “lazy” and openly stating that they will be “coming for” their rivals.
