NeatherRealms Studios just can’t help but tease us with teaser after teaser of the new Mortal Kombat game. This time around they’ve released a preview of Raiden’s kombat abilities, and of course he’s bringing the wrath of a furious storm to the ring. Shocking maneuvers leave opponents stunned and open for a battering, and then even if they recover more lightning quick attacks are already making contact. The guardian of Earthrealm can never let his guard down, and must be more brutal than ever to prevent the events shown to him by his future self.
They say lightning never strikes the same place twice, but those people have never met the thunder god whom defends our realm. Mortal Kombat is looking better than ever with it’s return to 2D fighting roots, and this time Raiden will take center stage by changing the history of the entire series. The incredible 3D presentation that’s still viewable without glasses and the new x-ray moves add to the visual glory of one of the most anticipated fighting games this year. Sending 1000 volts of juice down the chains of Kratos’ blades of chaos will be an epic moment.
