Red Faction has been around for a decade now, and its fourth major installment will be releasing in two months under the title of Red Faction: Armageddon. In anticipation of the forthcoming release, THQ has created a PSN title geared at welcoming players into the world of Red Faction in a fun, affordable way. A release date and price has finally shot into the public, and those with PlayStation Plus subscriptions are being treated with more greatness from Sony.
Red Faction Battleground has been labeled with a release date of April 5th, meaning it’s only a couple of weeks away. The title is played from a top-down view, plus it includes quick, powerful vehicles. Four-player splitscreen is supported, and the game is said to be a great way to enjoy Red Faction from a different perspective.
THQ will be releasing Red Faction Battlegrounds for the reasonable price of $10. However, if you’re a PlayStation Plus subscriber, you’ll be receiving the title on launch day absolutely free of charge. We’ll take it!
