Later this month, XSeed Games will deliver The Legend of Heroes: Trails in the Sky to North American gamers. Last year, Japan got a different game in that same series, The Legend of Heroes: Zero no Kiseki (or “Trails of Zero“). Now, developer Falcom has confirmed in Dengeki PlayStation that another entry will be coming to the PSP later this year, called The Legend of Heroes: Trails of Blue (or Eiyuu Densetsu: Ao no Kiseki).
Gameplay is said to be largely similar to Zero no Kiseki, with modifications and enhancements to the battle system, particularly the Orbment system. It will star most of the same characters, as expected, and pick up not too long after the end of Zero.
The game will be released on Sept. 29 in Japan, and of course it’s far too early to tell if it will come stateside. Those who want it, though, would be advised to support XSeed’s localization efforts of the series when Trails in the Sky hits North America on March 29.
