Corruption at the Core of L.A. Noire

The third official trailer for upcoming detective game L.A. Noire has arrived, and it gives us a brief glimpse of the corruption Cole Phelps will encounter during his climb of the police ranks.

L.A. Noire‘s release date is quickly approaching, and Team Bondi is slinging trailers our way to heighten the anticipation for their upcoming crime thriller. The latest video shows us scenes from Cole’s time at the vice desk, where he’ll deal with fixed boxing matches, morphine being dealt on the streets, and evidence of corruption within his own ranks. As usual the scenes are looking beautiful, with intense emotions showing through on character’s faces as they’re placed in difficult situations.

It’s easy to be sure that L.A. Noire‘s graphics look fantastic, but we still have a month and a half before we can find out if the gameplay will be just as good. If the previews are any indication, we should be in for an incredibly dramatic treat. In the meantime, drool over some of the other videos released, make sure to place a pre-order if you haven’t yet, and stay tuned to PlayStation LifeStyle for further L.A. Noire news as it releases.
