In a day and age where delays and cancellations have become a normal trend, it is not often you hear about a game pushing up its release. However, that is exactly the news we have for you today as Bethesda have announced that Brink, the upcoming shooter from Splash Damage, will be releasing a week early.
Brink was originally slated to release May 17th in the U.S. and 20th in Europe but will now be releasing on the 10th and 13th respectively. Pete Hines, VP of PR and Marketing for Bethesda Softworks announced:
Production wrapped on Brink earlier than we planned and we didn’t see any reason to keep gamers from getting their hands on this highly anticipated game as soon as it was ready.
It’s apparent from the tremendous reaction so far that people are eager to jump online and play, and if we can make that happen earlier – we’re going to.
This is the kind of news we love to write about and with the game looking really fun, this is great for gamers who just couldn’t stand waiting.
