It has been close to 11 years since gamers visited the dark and twisted world of American McGee’s Alice and with the sequel, Alice: Madness Returns set for release this June, EA and developer Spicy Horse Games are doing everyone a very cool favor.
Speaking to CVG, American McGee himself revealed a huge bonus for those buying Madness Returns.
There’s also going to be pretty significant release which is the original Alice brought over to the consoles so that a person who’s purchased Madness Returns gets a download code and is able to bring Alice 1 onto their console and play through the entire original game alongside playing Madness Returns.
This is fantastic news for all gamers but especially those who never had the joy of playing the original title. The good news doesn’t just stop there as Madness Returns will be getting downloadable content in the form of costumes.
There will be DLC in the form of dresses that the player can download and Alice can wear. Those dresses come with special abilities and enhance how you play through the game.
