Ninja Gaiden 3 was officially announced during a press event in 2010 at Tokyo Game Show. The third installment in the series – until now – had only received a teaser image of protagonist Ryu Hayabusa. The game itself will show players Ryu’s human side as the character embarks on an adventure which sees him descending into a hellish realm.

Ninja Gaiden 3‘s release date is currently unknown, but as the game will be shown at this year’s E3 a launch confirmation could be unveiled then.
