WayForward have decided to spill a bit of blood by releasing the debut gameplay trailer for Bloodrayne: Betrayal. With this footage we see exactly what one would expect from a Bloodrayne game; lots and lots of blood with an artistic art style and 2D side-scrolling. It has been over 5 years since the last game and even though Uwe Boll utterly demolished the film adaptations, we hope this game does the series justice.
Betrayal puts Rayne against an evil vampire massacre and for this mission she has teamed up with the vampire hunting Brimstone Society and a mysterious friend. The game will feature 15 challenging levels, fatalities, and a full variety of weapons including Rayne’s signature arm blades.
Bloodrayne: Betrayal is set for release this June for the PlayStation Network and is being worked by the same team behind the Wii’s A Boy and His Blob.
