Recently, Best Buy let slip that Robin would be a pre-order bonus for Batman: Arkham City. As quick as the news dropped, it vanished when it was pulled from the retailer’s site. If it were true, the question still remained: Which Robin would it be? Well today, the question is answered once and for all.Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment and DC Entertainment have confirmed that Robin will indeed be a fully playable character in the challenge mode in Batman: Arkham City. Of note as well is the pack is entitled the “Tim Drake Robin pack”. Robin will have his own gear, gadgets, and special moves to make his character unique from that of Batman.
This also confirms that—according to DC continuity—the door remains open for Dick Grayson a.k.a Nightwing to make an appearance at some point in the future. While the artwork released may be reminiscent of a certain Batman film starring Val Kilmer years ago, Rocksteady Studios has never been one to disappoint.
