Konami has announced that Castlevania: Harmony of Despair–which released last August of the Xbox Live Arcade–will be releasing later this summer on the good old PlayStation Network.
In the PlayStation Network version, gamers will get a new local 4-player co-op mode, which is added to the existing 6-player online co-op mode already available to Xbox Live users. The “Beauty, Desire, Saturation Dire” map pack along with downloadable characters Julius Belmont and Yoko Belnades will come standard with the standard purchase of the game.
The game got good ratings on the Xbox Live Arcade and is said to be the most fun of course when playing with friends. It will be interesting to see how this works with 6 players on-screen at once and the new 4 player mode should help for people with only 3 friends.
We will update you once a firm release date has been given for the game.
