Assassin’s Creed: Brotherhood surprised everyone with its fantastic multiplayer that managed to bring something new to the crowded online gaming genre. At E3 2010, Ubisoft showed their love for Sony – or possibly Sony’s wallet – as they announced that the game’s beta would be coming exclusively to the PS3. Following the same trend, the Revelations beta will, once again, only be available on PlayStation.
From September 3rd to 11th gamers will be able to access the multiplayer beta of Assassin’s Creed Revelations – but only if you are a PlayStation Plus or Uplay member. The beta offers access to nine characters: The Sentinel, The Vanguard, The Guardian, The Vizier, The Thespian, The Deacon, The Bombardier, The Trickster and The Champion as well as three maps: Knight’s Hospital, Antioch, Constantinople, and four playable modes: Wanted, Manhunt, Deathmatch and the new Artifact Assault.
The beta is described as a timed exclusive, but there are no details on when the 360 one will arrive. Assassin’s Creed Revelations releases on November 15th 2011 along with the Collector’s Edition, the Animus Edition and the Special Edition.
