Enjoy Parkour With New Assassin’s Creed: Revelations Trailer

Ubisoft Montreal is known mostly for the Prince of Persia and the Assassin’s Creed series. The development team has spent a lot of its history building games around acrobatic, platforming mechanics. Ubisoft has also made a few trailers that use music to bring out a more emotional response. Trailers for the 2008 remake of Prince of Persia featured music by Sia Furler with the prince moving in slow motion. The new Assassin’s Creed: Revelations trailer is getting the slow motion treatment as well, but Ubisoft decided to go in a slightly different direction with the music.

The new Assassin’s Creed: Revelations trailer shows stylized, acrobatic movements of Altair and Ezio, which are accompanied by some pulse-pounding Dubstep music. The trailer also shows off some combat and it looks like there will be new animations and moves. Ezio is seen flipping over enemies and reaching behind his back to stab people. The trailer also shows off an assassin’s castle which is hidden high in snow covered mountains.
