New Footage For Canceled Bourne Game Emerges

Back in 2008, it was revealed that Radical Entertainment were working on “a multi-player online game set in the world of the spy agency that trained Bourne” titled Treadstone. Unfortunately, the game was canned when Activision decided to not pick up the franchise after they merged with the series’ publisher Vivendi, canceling the 10 year contract that had been signed with the Ludlum estate.

But if you were wondering what could have happened had Activision canceled the project and downsized the developer, new footage of the game has been revealed. Discovered by Superannuation, the footage shows some early gameplay from the title:

With the fourth film, The Bourne Legacy, believed to release next year – despite numerous setbacks – Bourne could once again make his way onto consoles, but it is unlikely the work on Treadstone will ever be used.
