Following the announcement of Ragnarok Odyssey a few days ago, developer Game Arts (Grandia series), has released the first trailer and screenshots for this PlayStation Vita game. Ragnarok Odyssey is a four-player “hunting action” RPG that will have players defeating towering monsters as different jobs, such as Sword Warrior, Assassin, Mage, Hammer Smith, Hunter and Cleric.
You can view the screenshots and trailer below, which scream of a game that is drawing inspiration from Capcom’s Monster Hunter series. We see some aerial attacks, fast assassin like attacks, and plenty of big, big monsters. The game will be playable at Sony’s booth at the upcoming Tokyo Game Show, so if you happen to be going, you might want to check this out.
It is great to see so many good looking games announced for the PlayStation Vita, and we can only hope that some of these games make their way outside of Japan.
