The Tokyo Game Show doesn’t only have exciting reveals for new games, but it also has numbers! Yes, this year Sony was eager to announced the latest statistics for the company. It just might surprise you how many consoles are sitting out there on store shelves and in people’s homes.
Sony announced during their press conference that as of June, the PS3 has shipped 51.8 million units, and PSP has shipped 71.4 million units. Keep in mind that these are units shipped and not units sold. If you still haven’t picked up a PS3 or PSP, there are plenty of units that are looking for a home.
