Level-5 has announced that Ni no Kuni: Shiroki Seihai no Joou, which is set to release in Japan this November, will be releasing in North America in early 2012, giving those gamers outside of Japan a taste of this Studio Ghibli collaboration.
Speaking at Sony Computer Entertainment Asia’s Tokyo Game Show press conference, Level-5 president Akihiro Hino confirmed that an English version of Ni no Kuni was in production and set to release early next year, but that was the only details he gave.
Ni no Kuni is a collaboration between Level-5 and the famous animation kings, Studio Ghibli. The game stars a 13-year-old Oliver, who finds himself in an alternate world that runs parallel to his. With this new world also comes the ability to revive his mother, who recently passed away.
